Popular Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, has firmly denied the rumours suggesting that his movies are financially backed by specific individuals.
This revelation emerged during his appearance on the Oyerepa Cinifie Showbiz last Saturday, where he was questioned about the funding of his films.
In response, the multi-talented actor and musician confidently asserted that he single-handedly produces and funds his movies.
“We’ve heard that, your new movie ‘Mr President’ is funded by Akwaaba Magic, is that true?” the host of the show, Martha Joyce asked.
Lilwin on the other hand screamed;
“No!!!
No one has ever given me money to produce movies. Akwaaba Magic has not given me money for my movies. From ‘Cocoa Season’, ‘Papa No’, ‘Debony’ up till date if someone thinks he has given me money to fund my production, he or she should come out and expose me.” Kwadwo Nkansah posited.
The actor is set to release a highly anticipated new film titled “Mr President,” which is scheduled to premiere on August 26, 2023, at the prestigious Royal View Cinema, located in SG Mall, Kumasi.
