Famous Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang has revealed that he once turned down a lucrative offer from a political party to endorse their candidate.
In his new book, “Adjetey Anang: A Story of Faith, Imperfection and Resilience,” the renowned Ghanaian actor recounts the time he was approached by a political party while he was struggling financially.
According to him, the party offered him a large sum of money to endorse their candidate, but he refused.
“I was broke, the monetary reward was tempting, and all I needed to do was a few minutes of endorsement and my troubles would be over!” Anang wrote. “But I knew that I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t sell my integrity for a few dollars.”
He explained extensively that he discussed the offer with his wife, Elom, and she supported his decision to decline. “She also saw the prospect of an escape from our financial difficulties, but she knew that it wasn’t worth it.”He said
The launch of the book was a star-studded event attended by a wide range of people from the entertainment, media, and business industries.
