E.L privately known as Elorm Adablah, has recommended what should be done in the Ghanaian music industry to help songs break over international boundaries.
In a recent interview on Property FM in Cape Coast, the Hip Hop singer claimed that in order to go global, musicians need to improve the quality of their music.
“We need to work on the quality of the music and what I always tell musicians who come to my studio is that the quality of the production is more important than the song itself. The ‘Koko’ crooner suggested.
“People have songs out there which no dey bee but the sake of the way they’ve done the quality of the production and if you are able to get those things I think Ghana music can go a lot further,” E.L added.
He concluded, “I’m not saying we don’t have great engineers but there’s so much more room for improvement and so I think it’s the technical side and we have to really work on in order to get there”.
E.L. has a net worth estimated to be $700,000 and he won Artiste of the Year and Hip-life/Hip-hop Artiste of the Year at the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
