The feud between Ghanaian gospel artist Brother Sammy and his colleague, Ernest Opoku seem not to end anytime soon.
The duo have consistently been beefing with each other over the years.
Just recently, the two artists clashed on KNUST campus over reasons best known to them.
Ernest Opoku on March 26th 2023 organized his 20th anniversary in music which saw Brother Sammy put up a great performance at the event held at Bantama church of Pentecost. But Ernest Opoku in an interview said he didn’t invite Sammy.
In the latest development, Brother Sammy recognised also as the ‘Nation’s Worshiper’ is set to launch his album on Sunday 23rd April 2023 at the Kumasi Cultural Center, at 2 pm.
A lot of artists and celebrities are on the bill.
Speaking on Oyerepa TV’s Entertainment Review hosted by MFK, Sammy indicated that, a lot of musicians including Ernest Opoku are invited to perform at the ‘Masan Awura Mu Biom’ album launching, however, he will not allow Ernest to perform any of his songs.
According to him, Ernest will be his keyboardist and therefore will not be required to sing at the event.
Sammy said he trained and raised Ernest Opoku so once the master has performed, the apprentice will get no opportunity to sing any song but other artists will put up a performance.
“Ernest Opoku is my son, he will come to my album launching but I won’t allow him to sing, he’ll serve as my keyboardist.” The statement of Brother Sammy.
