Nathaniel Owusu, a promising young vocalist known as Lasmid in the music industry, has commented on his Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) nomination.
At the 2023 VGMAs, Lasmid’s Friday Night hit song has received three nominations thus; Best New Artist of the Year, Most Popular Song of the Year, and Best Hiplife Song.
Getting many nominations is a significant win, Lasmid, stated in an interview on Property Radio in Cape Coast prior to the VGMAs.
He remarked “I don’t know but however it turns out at the VGMAs it’s okay with me because just as people are saying I deserve an award maybe I might not even win.
“But we are monitoring and looking forward to it so that’s my idea for any of the nominations I got at this year’s VGMAs,” he disclosed.
“If it happens that I win the new artiste of the year that’s fine and if I don’t win we will continue to work hard because getting nominations is even a win for me.” He stated.
