Actress and media personality, Nana Ama McBrown has finally revealed why she left UTV.
Mcbrown joined the Media General Team after an almost 2-year stint as host of United Showbiz on UTV. The popular actress and media personality was unveiled on Monday, March 13 at the TV3 premises.
Before her exit from UTV, she had gone completely off-air for a couple of months due to ill-health, according to reports.
Speaking on 3FM’s Sunrise programme on Tuesday, Nana Ama McBrown finally revealed the motive behind her move by indicating that she informed her former employer as far back as December that she wanted to hold on and take a break.
The celebrated actress and Media personality said she informed them she wanted something new to the programme, against this backdrop, it was her expectation that they would revert her on the innovations.
However, no one bothered to revert to her for any discussion on her suggestion.
“I was waiting for them to call and say let’s think about what you said, however, nobody minded me, I didn’t have a contract and I have the right to move on,” she revealed.
