The 2021 VGMA Artiste of the year, Diana Antwi Hamilton has explained how she got the idea to organise the ‘Awake Experience’ concert.
The ‘Awake Experience’ concert is an event organized by multiple award winners to “gather people from all walks of life to pray and worship God via music.”
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, Tuesday, the popular Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Diana Antwi Hamilton indicated that, God touched her heart in 2014 to organize a musical concert to pray and worship Him.
“Around 2014 God touched my heart to organize the ‘Awake Experience’ concert. The whole idea was to gather people of the Lord to pray and worship Him via music. So basically, ‘Awake Experience’ is an event organized to gather God’s people to pray and worship Him”. The ‘Adom’ hitmaker stated.
According to her, before ‘Awake Experience’ she only had the opportunity to perform during an album launch or at an event, people have invited her to, so when God touched her heart to personally organize such a great event(Awake Experience), she had no option than to do it.
Meanwhile, the gospel musician is set to embark on her 2023 ‘Awake Experience’ concert in Kumasi on the 26th of February, at the Bantama Church of Pentecost.
