Many of Black Sherif’s songs are more sensible than most gospel songs, Evangelists Prince Adu-Asare has stated;
Young sensational musician, Mohammed Ismail Sherif, better known as Black Sherif is one of the most talked-about in Ghana.
His music has gone far and wide and has gained recognition all around the world.
Evangelists Prince Adu Asare explained on No. 1 FM that gospel artists are charged to produce sensible and biblical motivated songs but most are doing the otherwise.
The man of God stated that the Afropop/hip-hop musician Black Sherif composes more sensible songs than some gospel artists in Ghana. He added that a lot of people have given themselves the tag Gospel artist but don’t do real gospel work.
“Today, as an evangelist, I will choose one of Black Sheri’s sensible songs about life over some gospel songs produced by people who call themselves Christians. There is no sense in some of these gospel songs”, he added.
