Reality TV star and musician, Awal Mohammed has expressed worry over the difficulty in becoming a prominent musician in the music fraternity.
Awal Mohammed who came into the minds of many Ghanaian music lovers and Sarkodie’s fans in 2010 Talented Kidz in an interview with Graphic Showbiz revealed that he is doing his best to get the needed recognition in mainstream music however it has not been easy.
“It took me some time to finish off my studies, but I am now ready to pursue music professionally.” In the next year, “I’ll be releasing a lot more songs for the people of Ghana,” he added.
“I wish I were God, I would have long ago made myself ‘blow’ if it was possible, but I am not.”
Awal who pursued education after winning the reality show said he was unable to focus on music due to studies but has completed his course therefore he is ready to be a full time musical artiste.
There is no doubt in my mind that it will happen at the proper moment, and I’m working as hard as I can to achieve that,” he said.
“If I remain consistent, I still have hope of succeeding. Everything will come into place in the nick of time. My passion for music doesn’t require me to give it up; all I have to do is connect myself with the media and raise money to promote the songs I am now working on,” Awal stated
He further declared that, “I’m a grown-up now, and I’m releasing adult songs. ” It’s important to me that the people of Ghana pay attention to my music and realize how much I have to offer.”
