Renowned Highlife musician, Ofori Amponsah, has publicly endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the presidency, urging Ghanaian youth to vote for him.
During his performance at the “Boys Boys” gathering in Accra, organized by Sammi Awuku, Ofori Amponsah expressed his support for the Vice President.
According to the musician, Dr. Bawumia represents the future Ghana needs, and the youth stand to benefit greatly if he becomes President. Ofori Amponsah’s endorsement adds to the growing list of public figures throwing their weight behind Dr. Bawumia’s presidential bid.
“Ghanaian youth vote for Dr Bawumia. If you don’t make him Ghana’s next President you’ll be losing a lot. He is the future,” he remarked.
Adding that “it is possible Dr Bawumia will win”.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is leading the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 election.
He believes that he will make history as the political leader to break the eight-year cycle of political parties in Ghana.
