A 35-year-old married woman, Faustina Richster almost lost her finger after a wedding ring she bought from a friend to replace hers suddenly started tightening her finger at a fast pace at Kasoa in the Central Region.
Faustina Richster revealed that her original wedding ring had gotten lost for some months now, hence she contacted her friend who sold it to her for replacement.
In an interview with Kasapa News, the victim said after putting on the ring, her finger started swelling after a day.
Faustina Richster said all effort to remove the stuck ring from her finger yielded no results.
Suspecting there could be some spiritual reasons for the incident, libation was poured to deal with the forces possibly responsible.
It took the intervention of medical officers from Kasoa Mother and Child Hospital and pastors who engaged in a prayer warfare before the ring was successfully cut off to free her shrinking finger.
