Dr. Paul Kofi Fynn, Founder and Chancellor of Wisconsin International University, has emphasized the importance of serving the community over individual interests.
Speaking at the official launch of university’s 25th-anniversary celebration in Accra, Dr. Fynn stressed that the institution’s primary goal is to empower future generations, rather than pursuing personal gain.
“We have achieved great success, thanks to divine guidance, my family’s support, and your collective efforts,” Dr. Fynn said. “I urge you to view this university as a community development project, aimed at providing quality education to our children, helping them become responsible citizens, and contributing to community growth.”
Dr. Fynn’s remarks highlight his commitment to social responsibility and community development. Under his leadership, Wisconsin University has become a reputable institution, dedicated to providing quality education and promoting community growth.
Nana Addae Gyamera I, Chief of Feyiase, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the founder, Chancellor, and management board of Wisconsin International University College, Ghana, for their tireless efforts in impacting lives through education over the past two and a half decades.
“From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you and appreciate you for all that you do to make Wisconsin one of the great universities in Ghana,” Nana Addae Gyamera I said.
As the university celebrates its 25th anniversary, the chief urged the management to remain focused on their mission to improve the quality of life and education in Ghana and beyond.
For his part, Mr Joel Idun Acquah, Registrar Wisconsin university expressed his gratitude to God for the incredible journey that has brought them to this point.
“From humble beginnings with just seven students, we have grown to become a thriving institution with over 8,000 students in Accra and Kumasi.”
“We are honored to have our Chancellor receive the highest national honors, the Grand Medal, for missionary leadership. This recognition is a testament to our institution’s commitment to excellence and community service.”
Mr Acquah’s, address acknowledge the support of their partners, stakeholders, and the entire Wisconsin International University College community. “We look forward to many more years of growth, innovation, and excellence.”
