Ludwig Holdze, former youth organizer for the NDC, has emphatically stated that the party does not recognize the men involved in the riots at Cape Coast during the youth and women’s wing elections as party members.
He said this in an exclusive interview with Kwesi Parker Wilson on Oyerepa TV and added that the accredited members of the party who were present on the election grounds were disciplined and had nothing to do with the riots that went on.
He said everything went well until the disgruntled individuals came in to cause a stir.
The member of the party’s planning committee for its elections said the party is working hand in hand with the police to identify and punish the perpetrators of such acts.
Holdze has assured delegates of security and no recurrence of riots at the next national delegate conference set to be held at the Accra sports stadium.
“No one can enter the congress area without accreditation from the party,” he emphatically stated.
