Madame Hannah, a woman who leaves at Beposo is battling for her life after she was mercilessly beaten by the husband, Yaw Boadu.
According to her, the husband has been beating her always since they got married.
Narrating her tragic story to Aunty Naa host of Oyerepa Afufuo on Oyerepah FM on Monday, September 27, said she had wanted to divorce due to the irresponsible behavior of the husband.
“I struggle to get daily meal for myself and the children. My husband does not provide anything for us, sometime I help my neighbors before they give me food”. She lamented.
According to Madame Hannah, when ever she reports the issues to her family, they only calm her down with the expectation that the husband will change.
” I asked my husband to rent a room for me since he is not ready to marry me again. Yaw Boadu said he will throw me out of his room and take my phone from me. Suddenly he started hitting me when I refused to give him my phone, he was hitting me hard, hold my neck trying to kill me, fortunately two men came to my rescued.” She told Aunty Naa.
“When I was admitted at the hospital, my husband never bothered to check on me”. Madame Hannah bemoaned.
