NDC’s aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) for Oforikrom has in an interview with Oyerepa Breakfast Show (OBS) made a statement that is quite daring, that most of the people of Oforikrom barely get to know nor see their MP since days immemorial.
According to Mr. Henry Osei Akoto, in an interview with Oyerepa FM’s Nana Kwadwo Jantuah, he fell in love with the NDC because he realized the ordinary Ghanaian is highly accommodated by them.
He added that he felt he could resonate with such a Party because he also has such intentions, to accommodate and help the vulnerable in society.
“The year 2016 was the first time I voted for NDC, but I joined the NDC in 2015, ” the Aspiring NDC Member of Parliament for Oforikrom told Oyerepa FM.
Most of the people of Oforikrom don’t know their Member of Parliament, and it has been so since days immemorial. “What makes me believe this time around is that the about 200,000 and over people in Oforikrom cannot be bribed, ” Mr. Osei Akoto alleged.
He quizzed where the monies designated for developmental projects in Oforikrom are, calling for due diligence to be done by the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP).
He disclosed that his main focus is on three areas – Security, – Health and – Education, cautioning that MPs are do serve and not to be served. He pleaded with the people of Oforikrom to consider his track record and convert them to votes come 2020 elections.
