Several passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries following a collision between a Yutong OA bus and a mini bus at Danuwuri on the Sawla-Wa highway.
The accident occurred on Tuesday morning when the OA bus, bearing registration number AS 244-19, was traveling from Accra to Wa, while the mini bus was heading in the opposite direction.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the OA bus attempted to swerve potholes upon reaching Danuwuri but lost control, causing the vehicle to veer off its lane and collide with the mini bus.
Emergency responders swiftly transported the injured passengers to the Sawla District Hospital for medical attention
. Authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the exact cause and prevent future occurrences.
