Former Deputy Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), Gifty Oware Mensah, has returned to Ghana amid an ongoing investigation into a ghost names scandal at the NSA.
Reports indicate that Oware Mensah, who had been in the United States following the elections, arrived in the country on Tuesday afternoon and was received at the airport by some family members.
Her return follows reports that officials from the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) had been seeking her arrest in connection with the scandal.
This development comes shortly after the Former Deputy Director of Operations at the NSA, Kwaku Ohene Gyan, popularly known as Osonoba, was detained by the NIB as part of the ongoing investigations.

The ghost names scandal at the NSA involves allegations of fraudulent payments made to non-existent personnel on the National Service payroll.
Investigations suggest that thousands of ghost names were inserted into the system, leading to significant financial losses for the state.
