Sarkodie has recently released the lyrics video for his latest single, “Otan,” which translates to “hatred” in the Twi language.
The renowned rapper made the announcement of the track’s release on various social media platforms on December 7. Later that evening, he uploaded the video on YouTube.
In this track, Sarkodie delves into the topic of his haters. He expresses his surprise at discovering that, despite minding his own business and believing he had friends who would support him, they turned out to be his haters all along.
Sarkodie, in his signature rhythmic style, emphasizes that even though he is at the top of his game, his detractors are determined to bring him down to zero.
He emphasizes that his success is a result of God’s grace and affirms that he will continue to rise, even when others believe he is on the verge of failure.
“Let your angels cover me every day, cover me every night. Na otan hunu no adoso. I am at the top and I keep on winning, higher we go, highest we go dey,” the lyric of the main chorus goes, effectively summarizing the piece.
