Over 48 communities including Mensonso, Sikaman, Agogooso, Yaw Owusukrom, Brofoyedu of Adansi Akrofuom, and Adansi Asokwa district of the Ashanti region have residents in black and red attire appealing to Hon K.T Hammond, MP for Adansi Asokwa constituency and Minister for Trade and Industry, and MP for Adansi Akrofuom constituency Hon Alex Blankson.
The DCEs of Adansi Asokwa district and Adansi Akrofuom, as well as the President of the Republic Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and the NPP government, are being urged to address their poor road network.
According to the Regent, who also serves as Kontihene of Sikaman traditional council, Nana Anhwere Baffour II, the road between Kojo Nkwanta to Amankyem Akrofuom is a death trap. If the government does not fix it soon, all 48 communities will demonstrate against them.
