A host of school children, who were on a tour of the newly built Prempeh Airport in Kumasi, mobbed the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, following a surprise encounter at the airport.

Dr. Bawumia was at the airport, en route to Accra, after paying a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to express gratitude to him for his encouragement as he brings his 2024 election.

As Dr. Bawumia was getting ready to board his flight back to Accra, the children, made up of three clusters of schools, started chanting his name, Bawumia, Bawumia, upon seeing him.

Dr. Bawumia did not board the flight and turned towards the children to acknowledge their cheers and shake their hands.

As he got to the children, they all surrounded him, aiming handshakes and still chanting his name and his it is the possible slogan.

The Vice President put smiles on the faces of all the school children as he moved from one group to the other, with the children raising their index fingers as well, amidst chants of number one, amidst the screaming of it is possible.
