Professor Charles Ofusu Marfo, Provost of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CoHSS) at KNUST, has issued a bold challenge to Dr. Bawumia, leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Marfo demands that Bawumia answers the 170 questions he posed to ex-President John Mahama in 2016 before calling for a Presidential Debate.
Prof Marfo was speaking in a panel discussion on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, about a Presidential Debate the NPP is pushing their biggest rival, NDC to embark on.
“To tell Ghanaians that he (Bawumia) is very serious, he should solve the 170 questions he set for Mahama first. He should have a TV show and answer those questions. Because you exhibit seriousness thereby pursuing certain causes.” Prof Marfo said.
Marfo presented Bawumia with an ultimatum, either he engage in a media session like Mahama did quite recently or answer the 170 questions on TV before requesting a debate with Mahama.
“It’s either he does a media engagement or sits on TV and solves the 170 questions”
