The Ghana Police Service has arrested two additional individuals in connection with the murder of a football supporter, according to Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akufo Dampare.
This brings the total number of arrests to several, with the police still searching for a female suspect who has been in hiding.
Dr. Dampare assured the family of the victim, and the football community that the police will stop at nothing to ensure justice is served. He urged the public to support the investigation and view the incident as a crime that requires closure.
The IGP emphasized the need for football to be enjoyed without violence, stating that the police will work to prevent such incidents from happening again.
