The 1988 year group of Juaben Senior High School in Juaben Municipality of Ashanti region have constructed ultra modern health facility for the school.
The facility will be manage by two professional nurses from the Ghana health Service to help promote quality health care delivery among the students.
Some dedicated and committed staff, including the former headmaster and the current headmistress, teachers and PTA executives of the school received awards from the group.
Speaking at the commission and handing over ceremony, the group president, Dr Otuo Acheampong said, they were touch by spirit to support the school and considered as a core responsibility of every past student in the country since the government alone cannot provide all the needs in education.
He however maintained that the school has helped some of them with requisite foundation through quality education hence the need to pay back to their Alma Mater.
The director of pharmaceutical services medical center at KNUST, Dr Asumadu Amoateng, who represented the first deputy speaker of parliament, Hon Joseph Owusu as an old student commended 1988 year group for their support which will motivate others to follow.
He urged parents to always support their children on choosing cheer path not to enter into programs which is not favourable to them.
Mrs. Josephine Mensah Opuni Boachie, the head mistress of the school who received the presentation on behalf of the school management expressed gratitude to the kind gesture provided by 88 year group.
She used the occasion to appealed to other key stakeholders to come to their aid to reconstruct the broken fence wall of the school to help prevent some students from going home without permission.
