The Ghana Police Service has apprehended a suspect, Judith Trisy, in connection with the assault on the Ayawaso West Wuogon office of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on July 7, 2024.
Following an earlier statement, the Police initiated a manhunt for those responsible for the attack, ultimately resulting in the arrest of the suspect.
Reports indicate that the assailants caused significant damage to the NPP office, including the destruction of two vehicles.
Currently, the suspect is in police custody, cooperating with ongoing investigations. Authorities are actively pursuing the remaining suspects involved in the incident.
