Obaapa Christy, a Ghanaian gospel singer, has revealed what happened when she first met famed Ghanaian musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba.
According to Obaapa Christy, she was braiding her hair in a Sofoline (Kumasi) salon when one of the stylists informed her that a visitor was waiting for her outside.
She assumed it was an old acquaintance or one of her many die-hard followers, so she went out to greet him/her and probably exchange platitudes, but to her utter amazement, it was Daddy Lumba.
According to Obaapa Christy, Daddy Lumba paid her the surprise visit just to express his love and admiration for her unmatched musical talent.
She further stated that the popular artist had threatened to “BEAT HER” if she ever reacted to chats about her then”unsuccessful marriage.”
The gospel singer went on to say that it was one of the best and most unforgettable days of her life.
She also conveyed her gratitude to Daddy Lumba during a live interview with ATINKA FM monitored by Oyerepa online.
