The incumbent Member of Parliament {MP} for Asokwa Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Madam Patricia Appiagyei, has expressed great confidence in retaining her seat.
Two other candidates from the NPP in the Asokwa constituency are also contesting, with Patricia Appiagyei affectionately called Mama Pat in the party’s parliamentary primaries on 27th January.
However, during an interview on Oyerepa Breakfast Time on Tuesday, she confidently stated that none of her contenders could defeat her.
“Sometimes I wonder how certain people say, I would be voted out of office. Let me tell you, no one can defeat me in Asokwa…. I’m going to retain my seat. I’ve even won the primaries in advance. It’s a foregone conclusion,” she said.
The lawmaker representing Asokwa confidently asserts that she has accomplished a significant amount of work, resulting in notable development.
She firmly believes that her remarkable achievements will propel her to victory in the upcoming primaries.
“Looking at the development of Asokwa, I think that all the constituency needs is continuance. I need to retain my seat to finish the various projects I’m embarking on.
If you come to Asokwa, you’ll obviously see that it’s one constituency that you can always pinpoint a certain level of development.”She added.
Madam Patricia Appiagyei is seeking her fourth term of office.
