Mrs. Joana Cudjoe, the wife of popular Muscian Keche, has expressed worry over the decision by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to conduct a new parliamentary primary in the Amenfi Central constituency.
The NDC has nullified the outcome of the May 13 election, which saw Madam Cudjoe emerge as the winner, but was subsequently barred from assuming the position due to allegations of forgery involving her voter ID and party card.
This decision was made following a meeting of the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, and comes as the election is currently the subject of a court case at the Sekondi High Court.
Speaking in an interview with Kwesi Parker Wilson on Oyerepa TV, she said, “I am not happy with the party’s decision because I spent a lot of money on that election.”
