Nasco-Tech, an initiative of Nasco Feeding Minds, recently celebrated a significant milestone by graduating its 14th IT Bootcamp cohort 2 in Adenta, located in the Greater Accra Region.
This momentous occasion marked the completion of a rigorous 3-month training program, providing these graduates with the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the competitive job market.
Impressively, six prominent institutions and companies have already expressed a strong interest in hiring these exceptional individuals.
During his opening speech, Banasco Nuhu Seidu, the Chief Executive Officer of NascoTech and Executive Director of Nasco Feeding Minds, outlined the company’s mission and shared its vision for the future.
He emphasized Nasco-Tech’s commitment to coding and software engineering training, with plans to assign graduates to work with various Spanish companies upon completion. Over the past three years, NascoTech has successfully placed approximately 30 individuals in Spanish companies.
Additionally, in collaboration with Mini Plast, NascoTech is introducing a new program focused on 3D model training. This initiative aims to train young people in 3D model technology for employment in a plastic waste recycling company.
Seidu encouraged the youth to invest their time in learning to enhance their lives, emphasizing the importance of training and personal development.
Dr. Rosina Foli, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the University of Ghana, advised Ghanaian youth against seeking opportunities abroad, highlighting the potential for growth and success within the country.
In her keynote address, Dr. Rosina Foli urged the youth to prioritize learning, as opportunities can arise unexpectedly.
