Since the start of the new voter registration exercise on June 30, 2020, many are the call for the process to be halted as the world isn’t in normal times.
The Ashanti Regional President of the Ghana Medical Association, has reiterated and advised that our focus on improving health supersedes political interests.
In an on-phone interview with Oyerepa FM’s Nana Kwadwo Jantuah, Dr. Paa Kwesi Baidoo emphasized that it is not good news if your testing facilities takes one/ two weeks before test results are in. “It is very worrisome if we don’t have enough facilities to even spare in for not to be reported cases, ” Dr. Kwesi Baidoo exclaimed.

He disclosed that COVID-19 has been demonstrated with facts that it is airborne, due to the aerosols generated after talking.
“It is a dynamic/fluid case which needs to be evaluated everyday/ week… as a country we need to take good care of ourselves at the expense of Politics, ” the Ashanti Regional Prez of G.M.A advised.
Dr. Kwesi Baidoo noted compliance to the social directives as very problematic in the country saying, “Most people consider wearing their nose masks only when they get to checkpoints.”
