Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Samuel Adu Frimpong, well known as Medikal has claimed that to live in poverty in the capital city of Ghana, Accra is even costly.
Apart from city people, poverty affects a large portion of Accra’s rural districts. Accra has 79 communities, including Ga Mashie, James Town, Chorkor, and Nima, which have been regarded as three of the region’s poorest.
The indigenous peoples who live in Accra are among the most vulnerable. Although the capital city has always been the best place when it comes to opportunities since many come from villages to seek greener pastures, many people living within the capital have complained about hardships.
It is at the back of this that Medikal is of the view that current uncertainties within the capital have made poverty very costly, He said this on his Twitter page.
