An unknown man of about 55 years has been found dead at the entrance of New Kejetia Market, adjacent to the giant Otumfuo Osei Tutu II statue in Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional capital.
He is presumed to have died on the dawn of Thursday, May 4, 2023.
Traders in the area who spoke to Oyerepa Online said the man is a stranger.
Some police officers from the Kumasi Central Police Station, led by Chief Inspector Kove said they were called to the scene around 4 AM.
The police have however conveyed the remains of the man to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue pending investigation.
