An unidentified woman has been crushed to death by a tipper truck with registration number GT 7452-Y at Dr Mensah in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.
The sad incident happened around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver’s mate of the truck started the car but lost control and crushed the woman.
“The truck’s mate started the truck but he lost control of it after failing to brake. Traders along the road were running for their lives. The heavy woman who sells cabbage was trying to cross the road to the other side when she saw the truck coming; unfortunately, the vehicle ran over her.” The eyewitness explained.
The police officers who were at the scene said the identity of the deceased was not yet known.
