John Dramani Mahama has been sworn in as the President of Ghana, marking the start of his second term in office.

The ceremony was a celebration of Ghana’s democratic legacy, with various global dignitaries in attendance, including heads of state, diplomats, and representatives of international organizations, such as Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kenyan President William Ruto, as well as delegations from the European Union, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
The event was a showcase of Ghana’s standing on the global stage, with over 10 heads of state confirming their participation.
The swearing-in ceremony marked the beginning of a new era under Mahama’s leadership, with Ghanaians encouraged to join in the celebration, either in person or via broadcast.
