Ghanaian musician, Kuami Eugene has told his colleague and label mate, KiDi to stop talking about him whenever he goes for interviews.
Kuami Eugene and Kidi have been spewing ‘friendly’ jabs at each other which sometimes generate controversies on social media and it is alleged that they are having some low-key friction in the camp, however; we can’t negate the fact that they are all rivals in the music business but competing healthily.
In a recent interview he granted on radio, Kuami Eugene bemoaned how the media both new and traditional misquote and turn their statements against each other.
According to the ‘Obiaato’ hitmaker, he is glad Kidi has not been talking about him for some time now and admonished him to continue leaving him out of his conversation with the media and focus on himself.
Monitored by Ghanacelebrities.com, he said;
“I don’t talk about KiDi; that’s me. I don’t talk about people’s lives. So I’m glad he now realises that our people like to misquote others. He should have understood this long ago that your ‘A’ can be twisted to look like ‘B,.”
“He is not saying it in a way people will take it. He is saying because he has a good heart, but at the end of the day, they misquote him and make him sound like a bad person or a jealous person.”
