Pollster and Editor for the Daily Dispatch Newspaper, Mr Benjamin Emmanuel Epson has clarified that no individual or group sponsors his polls.
Some Ghanaians have accused him of taking money from people especially politicians to conduct polls in their favor.
According to Ben Epson’s 20216 poll predictions, the then governing National Democratic Candidate (NDC) presidential candidate would garner 52.4 percent of the votes while his main rival Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would get 45.9 percent.
Following the failure of his 2016 predictions, some Ghanaians since then believe that all the polls done by him (Ben Ephson) are influenced by money.
But speaking in an interview on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, Ben Ephson denied those accusations; said he does not take money from anyone.
“I don’t take money from any politician to do my polls. If I take money from any politician to do the survey can’t I tell the person that he will lose?” He quizzed.
