Mr Kwadwo Nsafoah Poku, an aspiring Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, has disclosed that Ghanaians didn’t take time to interrogate President Akufo-Addo before giving him the mandate to become the President.
According to the flagbearer hopeful, Ghanaians have been making the mistake of not taking time to interrogate every single person who wants to climb the Presidential seat.
In an exclusive interview with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel on Oyerepa Breakfast Show, Mr Nsafoah opined that all aspiring candidates must be thoroughly interrogated to know what they have to offer before giving them the mandate.
He believes that Ghanaians did not interrogate President Nana Addo enough to know what he really wanted to bring on board hence the various crisis and corruption in the country.
“A leader must be innovative and deep thinking,” he said.
“For me, President Akufo-Addo has failed in some pursuit, for instance how he has tackled corruption in this country”.
“I would mark him 85% and 15% down and that is only based on corruption” he added.
Kwadwo Nsafoah suggested that there should be a debate with all aspiring candidates and that is the only way Ghanaians will know who is innovative and what he is bringing on board when given the mandate.
