Samson Asaki Awingobit, the aspiring Flagbearer of the Peoples National Convention (PNC), believes that Ghana needs a change in government to transform its economy.
Speaking in an interview with Oyerepa News, he expressed his confidence in the Ghanaian people’s ability to choose a new leader who can navigate the country through these difficult times.
According to Awingobit, the PNC is the true political party that can win power from Ghanaians. He believes that the people must change their pattern of thinking, and see the NPP and NDC as being essentially the same.
In an interview with Oyerepa News, Awingobit, who is also the president of the Importers and Exporters Association of Ghana, emphasized that since 1992, Ghana has not had a business person as the president. With his business background, he claims to understand the economic situation of the country.
If successful in securing the PNC Flagbearer position, Awingobit would position himself as a prominent candidate for the party in the broader political landscape.
He appeals to Ghanaians to stand behind him and the Peoples National Convention (PNC) to secure victory in the upcoming general elections.
