Former Director of Ministry of food and Agriculture(MOFA), Mr. Kwaku Minkah Fordjour has reemphasized the need for all hands to be on deck to integrate several other methods in improving Agriculture and its related issues.
Speaking with Oyerepa FM’s Wofa Atta Frimpong, in an on-phone interview, Mr. Kwaku Minkah Fordjour opined that most truths cannot be revealed in companies because it has to do with the pledges and oaths sworn to defend it regardless.
He termed the kind of Agricultural farming being practiced in Ghana as ‘Agriculture by the Grace of God’. “Ghana practices ‘Agriculture by the Grace of God’ because we depend on rains to irrigate/ water our farms, ” Mr. Kwaku Minkah Fordjour described on Oyerepa F. M.
He counselled that Ghana cannot boost of improving Agricultural sector with just fertiliser availability. He stated that practises like good irrigation, proper storage, transportation and other integrated methods should be practised.
The Former Agric Director emphasized that Agriculture integrates a lot of methods that contribute to its success and improvement.
