Almost 76% of constituents in the Asante Akyem North constituency have expressed their intention to vote out the incumbent Member of Parliament, Lawyer Appiah Kubi, citing his poor performance over the past eight years.
According to the constituents, despite being in power for nearly a decade, Hon. Appiah Kubi has failed to deliver on basic amenities such as toilet facilities, markets, schools, and hospitals. This perceived neglect has left the constituents feeling frustrated and disillusioned with their current representation.
Ohene Kwame Frimpong, an independent candidate, has gained massive support from the constituents of Asante Akyem North. Despite not being the current Member of Parliament, he has actively engaged with the community, addressing their pressing needs.

Despite not being the current MP, Ohene Kwame Frimpong has initiated several development projects, including the construction of a new market at Akutuase and toilet facilities at Anisua, Wuramponsu, and Wioso.
He has also built a school, central mosque and Hospital at Agogo, which serves the Muslim community. These projects demonstrate his commitment to improving the lives of the people in the constituency.
