President John Mahama has appointed the well-known broadcaster, Dr. Ransford Anertey Abbey, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Cocoa Board.
Dr. Abbey, also known as Randy Abbey, has been confirmed in this role in a statement by the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama.
The statement, dated January 21, 2025, mentioned that the appointment is awaiting the necessary advice from the Board of COCOBOD as required by the constitution. This appointment officially began on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
