The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) has set November 3rd to November 7th for the exhibition of the voter register ahead of the December 19, District Assembly Elections.
Speaking to the media, the Deputy Commissioner in charge of Operations at the EC, Mr Samuel Tettey indicated that the exhibitions are to allow prospective voters to verify their details.
According to him, voters are advised to go to the polling centres with their voter Identification Cards if there is a problem with their details they can request an amendment.
Mr Samuel Tettey added that voters who do not visit the polling centres without their voter cards can verify their names but can not request for the amendment because the voter did not bring his/her card.
He urged Ghanaians to show interest in the impending voter exhibition exercise for both 2020 and 2023 voter registers in all the 8622 exhibition centres.
