According to David Kumi, coordinator for COCTE, the app is designed to ensure that the public experiences free and fair elections. Many individuals struggle to accept the results of elections, particularly if their favourite candidate loses.
The POLLWATCH App aims to address this issue by projecting all certified results, allowing the public to enter details of the election process, and promoting transparency throughout the electoral process.
By utilizing the POLLWATCH App, Ghanaians can play an active role in ensuring the integrity of the electoral process. The app is available for download, and COCTE encourages all citizens to utilize this innovative tool to promote transparency and accountability in Ghana’s elections.
This game-changing platform empowers citizens and civil society organizations to actively participate in election-day activities across all 40,000 polling centres nationwide.
