Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, the newly elected National Democratic Congress (NDC) Deputy General Secretary has cast a swipe at the national executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to her, the NPP executives are inexperienced and should not be compared to the newly elected national executives of the NDC.
Her comment is in response to a question on Oyerepa Breakfast Time if the NDC executives could be matched boot for boot with the NPP team.
Responding to the question, Babara Serwaa expressed that, no one should dare to compare the NPP executives to the NDC, because they are unparalleled.
She said, under no circumstance or shape could the NPP men mark the experienced NDC team. And should one force him or herself to do that comparison, it would be a mismatch.
“NPP can’t compare their executives to our current executives’ boot for boot.
If you look at our current chairman, he’s been a general secretary for 17 years so he has a lot of experience but if you look at their chairman, he is inexperienced. If you look at our new general secretary, there is no way you can compare NPP’s secretary to him…
So if you look at the executives NPP has lined up and executives we’ve lined up, no one in Ghana in any way or shape will do boot-for-boot marking with our national executives. Even the NPP themselves won’t do it because the strength of our people is stronger than theirs. They can’t match us in any form…
So I don’t think anyone can compare the NPP team to our new team. It’s a mismatch.” She emphatically stated.
