The Good Women Fellowship of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) New Tafo area has donated assorted items worth GHc5,000 to Cherubs Children’s Home in Ashanti region.

The items included bags of rice, packs of bottled water, detergents, pampers, toiletries, clothes, shoes and other items together with an unidentified sum of money to support the children children ahead of the Christmas festivities.

Mrs comfort Ofosu Mensah , the leader of the good women fellowship of the Christ Apostolic church international, new Tafo Area who made the presentation said, it was part of their social responsibility to respond to the needs of the less privileged in the society which is stated in the Holy Bible.

According to her, there is the need to make the less privileged feel at home and always know that, people care for them wherever they find themselves.

Mr. Bernard Osei Bonsu, Administrator of Chrubs children’s home receiving the items thanked the Good women fellowship for their support and appealed to other churches and organizations to emulate their kind gesture.

She added that, the major challenge they are facing now is the children security.
Walls of the home are dilapidated due to rain falls. Therefore philanthropists should assist the home.
