Hundreds of angry youths in Gomoa Dominase, located in the Gomoa East district of the Central Region, recently took to the streets to protest against the Gomoa Potin Polyclinic Authorities.
Their outrage stemmed from the alleged negligence that resulted in the tragic death of a vibrant young man named Ato Krampah Wilson.
The massive crowd, adorned in red attire and red armbands, passionately chanted war songs to express their deep dissatisfaction with the handling of Ato’s case.
They called upon the Ministry of Health to launch an investigation into the actions of the Gomoa Potin Polyclinic Authority.
It is worth noting that Oyerepa News previously reported on the incident involving Ato Krampah Wilson.
Following his untimely demise, the youth of Gomoa Dominase stormed the premises of the Gomoa Potin Polyclinic, causing significant damage to computers and other equipment just two weeks ago.
During an interview, some of the demonstrators expressed their concerns and urged Health Minister Kweku Agyeman Menu to transfer the nurses working at the polyclinic. They believe that such a move would help prevent any future deaths resulting from negligence.
Meanwhile, the Nkosourhene of Gomoa Dominase traditional council Nana Kwesi Gyasi reported that eleven persons have died at the polyclinic due to what they described as total negligence by the health officers.
He also called on the health minister Kweku Agyeman Manu to investigate the whole issue.
