The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr Augustus Nana Akwasi Andrews has urged all party members to unite for the battle ahead in the 2024 elections.
This came after the largest opposition party in the country, NDC held its 10th National Delegates Congress to elect new national executives.
The congress which saw about 9,200 delegates from the 276 constituencies across the country came together at the Accra Sports Stadium to elect its National Executives.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NDC appealed to party members to unite in order to fight for the power they want in 2024.
“I am going to give in my full support to our newly elected chairman who is also father to us all and other elected executives to fight together and win the elections in 2024,” he stated
However, he humbly made a clarion call for unity in the party and assured his willingness to work with all National officers to battle for power in the 2024 general elections.
” I humbly appeal to all our members to leave everything behind and fight together for the power we want in 2024,” he said.
He further, advised all members to do away with every anger and bitterness that has been created in the hearts of all party members.
