Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has urged former Finance Minister, Mohammed Zain Adam to apologize to the people of Ghana.
The former Minister, while addressing the press after the 2025 budget statement was presented, insisted that the previous government did not implement the vetting tax.
His claims have been questioned by the current Minister who insists that betting tax was implemented in the second quarter of 2024.
Ato Forson insisted that Ghs 80 billion was collected as tax on betting by the government.
Reacting to Amin Adam’s claims, Shara Wale, who is a known punter, asked him to apologize to Ghanaians over his claims.
His opinion expressed on social media read “Please sir who is the “We” nu or u r talking about “Wee”
Cuz it is true ,”Wee” cannot implement that,….. Ibe wicked human beings like you who can do that 😡
Or you think the “we” is you and your coat…?
You forget say you be worker under the NPP government ? Or which “We” are you referring to ?😡
