President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, as the Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
This decision reflects President Mahama’s dedication to assembling a capable and diverse team to lead the country.
In addition to Ablakwa’s appointment, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah has been chosen to lead the Ministry of Defence, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the MP for Juaboso, will oversee the Ministry of Health, and Kofi Armah Buah, the MP for Ellembelle, will take charge of the Ministry for Lands and Natural Resources.
Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, the MP for Asawase, has been appointed as the Interior Minister-designate, while Sam Nartey George, the MP for Ningo Prampram, will serve at the Ministry for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovation.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the MP for Abura Asebu Kwamankese, has also been appointed as the Minister of State for Government Communications.
