Bafour Kotei Kutin Sraman II, chief of Breman in Ashanti’s Suame Municipality, has voiced deep concern about the rising rate of hard drug use among the community’s youth.
He claims that the issue is contributing to the area’s high number of crimes.
Bafour Kutin has thus warned the Breman community’s youth to refrain from using drugs because he will not intervene if they are arrested.
Bafour Kutin Sraman II made the remarks during a ceremony in which Ghana Gas built an Astroturf at Breman with the help of one Lawyer John Darko, a Board Member of Ghana Gas and a Suame native.
Lawyer John Darko, for his piece, pledged to do everything in his capacity to bring the needed development to the area and urged Suame Municipality residents to contribute their fair share to the community’s growth.
Lawyer John Darko praised President Akufo Addo for appointing him to the Board of Directors of Ghana Gas and called for unity among NPP supporters in the Suame constituency to ensure that the party achieves its agenda of breaking the eight-year jinx in 2024.
