Hollard Insurance Ghana has sensitized KNUST Zone of the Ghana National Association of Tailors and Dress-makers Association (GNTDA) in the Ashanti Region on financial literacy and insurance packages.
The program, known as ‘H.Insured’, is part of a series of endeavours undertaken by the company to provide dress-makers and tailors with practical and financial knowledge about insurance and its impact on maintaining a successful fashion business.
During the event, Adwoa Roswitha, Group Head of Business at Hollard Life, emphasized the importance of ensuring business assets, customers on the premises (occupiers liability), and the welfare and life of employees. She highlighted the effectiveness of insurance in safeguarding these aspects of their businesses.
“Fashion Design comes with its challenges. That is why as a corporate body, we have taken it upon ourselves to ensure that your businesses survive and thrive. Hollard has always been committed to promoting an effective working environment and business sustainability. For this reason, we want you all here to be aware of the need to insure your business assets, customers on your premises and employers’ welfare and life. This will ensure that in any event of a crisis, the business does not experience any shock.” She said.
Adwoa Roswitha further ceased the occasion to inform the Fashion Designers of Hollard’s new Insurance package dubbed ‘Asomdwee’.
“The Asomdwee Insurance targets Fashion Designers and has been tailored to your needs and challenges to ensure continuous sustainability of the Fashion Business and Industry.” She noted at the event held in Kumasi at Banivillas, on October 20, 2023.
Pivotal personalities like Mr Alexander Osei Mensah (Head of Operations, Hollard Ghana), Mr Reese Mensah-Daniels (Ashanti Regional Head of Marketing, Hollard Ghana), Mr Be Close (Prez. GNATDA) and Representatives of Ghana Private Enterprise Agency, were in attendance to grace the event.
